Volunteers are divided into two groups and start in April and October 2020 respectively. Food is ecological and is procured in bulks for the whole community. Common meals are prepared vegan. There is no meat and limited dairy consumption. The town is 8 km away. A bike will be assigned to each volunteer upon their arrival. There is a carpool on site and a bus station close by.
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
The main criterion for GSX is the personal motivation of candidates to engage in sustainable lifestyle and community living. It’s important to demonstrate a basic understanding of actual living conditions in Suderbyn. Those who show curiosity and enthusiasm towards the areas mentioned above are more likely to be selected. The project setting ultimately involves a rural lifestyle and might not be suitable for those who prefer urban activities.
