Purpose of the project: The project #glocal invites you (together with other 25 international volunteers) to explore the interconnectedness between the local and the global, to promote solidarity and active citizenship by volunteering in a specific hosting organization, participating in and organizing solidarity events, creating eco-postcards, etc. Your specific volunteering activity will take place at the Palemonas Public Library of Kaunas. Your main tasks: to play board games with kids; to help organizing and leading day camps for kids; once a week to make handcraft workshops with kids; to offer language lessons for adults and kids; to present your country to the local community (organizing various info-events, etc.) More info when we get in touch! Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 30/09/2019 to 31/07/2020 (11 months)
