Purpose of the project: 1. The « Collectif des Petits Chemins » is a non-profit association and school based in Lessive, a village located in the French community of Belgium. Its aim is to promote the new pedagogies tailored made according with the kids’ personalities and using the natural environment. This activity involves the work with little kids from 2 years and a half until 5 years old. Main tasks: Supporting the kindergarten teacher and taking care of the kids: from Monday to Friday (8:30-16:00, except on Wednesday 8:30-12:00). o Welcoming of kids in the morning at the school; o Participation in different artistic workshops (e.g. painting, drawing, weaving, story-telling, singing, modelling clay,…) ; o To accompany the kids during the breaks and offer them help to eat the snack, to get dressed; o Participation in outside activities: visit at the farm, walk in the forest, free time activities, o Implementing a personal activity with kids after the first stage of the project.

2. The « Collectif des Petits Chemins » is a non-profit association and school based in Lessive, a village located in the French community of Belgium. Its aim is to promote the new pedagogies tailored made according with the kids’ personalities and using the natural environment. Activity 2: Primary school at Ecole des Petits Chemins. Work with kids from 6 until 12 years old. Main tasks: -Supporting the primary school teacher and taking care of the kids: from Monday to Friday (8:30-16:00, except on Wednesday 8:30-12:00). o To support the teacher in the making of pedagogical plans and learning aims; o Participation in different artistic workshops (e.g. painting, drawing, weaving, story-telling, singing, modelling clay,…) ; o Participation in diverse activities: visit at the farm, walk in the forest, free time activities, maintenance of the building, of the vegetable garden, cooking workshops,… o Implementing a personal activity with kids after the first stage of the project.

Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer for each project between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period: 15/09/2019 to 30/06/2020 (10 months)

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:

Motivated to join the activity; open-minded and pro-active / benevolent attitude towards kids and be interested in active and cooperative pedagogical approaches / not be afraid of spending time outside and to appreciate the contact with nature/ basic skills in French/ certificate of good conduct.
