Purpose of the project: #YOUTHLAB is a project that, from April 2017 to September 2020, accompanies 26 municipalities in giving shape and voice to young people’s ideas.A key achievement of the project is the refurbishment of the ERBA TRAIN STATION, a space of 200 square meters, a container to welcome and accompany the empowerment of young people, the development of their ideas and projects and their acquisition of soft skills. At the station young people work together with youth workers, politicians, volunteers, entrepreneurs and anyone willing to donate time, skills and resources. A noteworthy achievement of #YOUTHLAB has been the opening of an Eurodesk Agency in Erba at the Station. The Volunteer will be involved in the management of ERBA STATION, in collaboration with youth workers, young themselves and the whole community. The Volunteer will support staff members in the daily management of the centre as well as during workshops, welcoming, training and promotion.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/10/2019 to 31/10/2020 (1 year)

Accomodation, food, transport arrangements:
The volunteer is hosted in a fully equipped home in a University residence in Como; it has living room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. The volunteer will share the home with other two volunteers. They will share kitchen and bathroom. The house is in the city centre of Como. The volunteer will have monthly bus ticket to get the hosting headquarter as well as monthly food allowance.
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
#YOUTHLAB is looking for volunteers aged 18 – 29, with a genuine interest and passion for working in a young social environment. No professional skills and experience is required, however it is recommended he/she express interest for active participation to society and European policy and a dynamic approach to work and good social skills.
