Long term EVS project in France!

Purpose of project: The volunteering will take place in the youth department of the town hall of Lannion, a city of 18,000 inhabitants. Lannion is a town located in the North West of France (in Brittany), near the seaside resorts of the Côte de Granit Rose. The volunteers will be part of the youth service team, in connection with the French volunteers welcomed by the city. He / she will be directly involved and solicited in the implementation of the activities of the service. Volunteers may be asked to welcome young people to the Youth Information Point. The tasks of the volunteer will be to be in touch with the young public, to propose punctually animations. They can also propose activities around European citizenship, acceptance of differences, interculturality, … in the form of workshops or debates , pedagogical activities for example. As part of its mission, initiatives will be encouraged and valued. The young person will be able to set up projects individually, on themes that interest him.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period -01/10/2019 to 30/06/2020 (9 months)

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
To select the volunteer, our only criteria is motivation, regarding two levels : the desire to live an intercultural experience and the will to work with young people, without any prerequisites, nor language, nor experience in this field. We wish that the volunteer will care about young people, be eager to learn better english and french, and that he will be energetic.
