Long term European Solidarity Corps volunteering project in Sweden!

Purpose of the project: The projects’ objective is to provide cultural diversity and good opportunities to participate. Actions are executed by youngsters addressed to youngsters in the City of Sundsvall. Our work is to stimulate unemployed youngsters’ to active participation in society in all, but especially in youth venues in the City of Sundsvall and its rural areas. Our work is to encourage and initiate youngsters to actively participate in planning, organizing and execution of cultural events in various youth venues in Sundsvall. In all stages of work, young people will be involved. Due to youngsters’ voluntary actions, this hopefully will encourage young people to creativity and entrepreneurship. Cultural diversity, youth unemployment, creativity, citizenship and youth participation is of course also targeting youngsters with disabilities. Volunteers in our project will organize actions which allow a multitude of the target group to participate.

Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period: 16/09/2019 – 15/09/2020 (1 year)

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering: The volunteer should, of course, have a big interest in people in general and particularly in young people. The volunteer should have a genuine interest in his/her own achieving in learning new things, be independent enough to create and continue in different art projects and to be a promoter for Erasmus+ program and youth policies in Europe. It is also an advantage for the volunteer applying for the project, that he/she has knowledge and experience in some kind of arranging and organizing art or music events, is open-minded, ethically conscious and socially equipped.
